SEC Predictions 2011Score: 45September 3, 2011 11:43 am
East- South Carolina-regardless of who plays QB, I think it will eventually be Garcia, USC is loaded. 11-1 Georgia-Rough schedule to open, but if Georgia can start 1-1, 10 wins could follow. 9-3 Florida-First year coach, Will Muschamp, will eventually get the program back on top, not in 2011 however. 8-4 Tenn- Another solid year from Dooley, but still not where they need to be. 7-5 Kentucky-Winning season & Bowl game 6-6 Vandy-Franklin will make them better, but it will take time. 4-8 West- Alabama-10 returning starters on D, punishing RB, talent is there for a SEC title & NC run. 12-0 LSU-Jefferson suspension hurts but talent remains and some say this might make LSU better 10-2 Arkansas-Loss of RB's Knile Daves & Dennis Johnson will hurt with rebuilt o-line, but enough talent to contend in west 9-3 MissSt-Dan Mullen will take next step. 9-3 Auburn-Loss of 18 starts too much even for Chizik to overcome, but watch out in 2012.7-5 Ole Miss-Nutt time running out in Oxford, needs a strong season, won't get it. 6-6 Bama over USC in SEC Title Game Category: NCAAF Tide's chances remainder of seasonScore: 108October 11, 2010 9:43 pm
OK, so I've had a few days now to take in the SC loss..... Couple thoughts....anyone else think the talking heads are being a little ridiculous? After the Florida domination Bama was the "cats meow",now cause they lost a game, no SEC title game appearance,no chance at the National Championship. These are the same folks that couldn't stop gushing last week. It just cracks me up. Personally, we are a little knicked now with Jones and Fluker probably out for 2-3 games, but that being said I still think we can go 6-0 down the stretch, yes beating both LSU and Auburn. In fact the funniest part about all this is that, South Carolina will very likely lose another game or so this season, thus probably taking them out of the SEC conference race, so how will people look at them later in the season, much like they will other SEC teams. People will say the SEC is down this year due to Florida & Alabama having lost, but I think its actually stronger than in years past, but my god how is "mental Miles" 6-0??
